Yes, that’s two blog posts in one day. We got so busy this fall that the news piled up faster than I could write it down, so after a long gap I’m catching up all at once. If you missed the first one, it covers two new books, a library yes, and a 3D-printed Clover you can win.
This one is about the website itself, because it’s getting a makeover.
What’s changing
I’ve been working with my AI assistants—Prince Declan, Chief of Irish Devilment, and Sir Claude, Royal Master of Pixels—to give the website a fresh look. Apparently, even a small bookshop now requires a royal court.
Some of the changes are already in place:
- A page for every book. Each title now has its own page, with the cover, a short description and everything you need to order it.
- A look inside. Some books now have preview pages, so you can see what you’re getting before you buy. The grief journal is the first, and more are coming.
- Order straight from me. Every book page has its own order buttons, and preorders are open for the new releases. Just choose Virginia delivery or delivery elsewhere in the U.S., to open the matching checkout. Shipping is included in the displayed direct-order price, and Virginia sales tax is added for Virginia delivery.
- Buying more than one book? Get in touch before you pay and I’ll send you one invoice with combined shipping, so you’re not paying postage twice.
- More to come. Remembrance gifts to go with the grief journal and more Bramble Hollow extras are in the works, and they’ll have their own spot on the site when they’re ready.
